HAU now has 20,940 students

There are now 20,940 students enrolled at Holy Angel University, an increase of 841 from last school year.

The College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) posted the biggest increase among colleges with 629 students for a total of 5132, just 93 students short of the 5225 tally for perennial front-runner College of Business and Accountancy (CBA).

The College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) retains its No. 3 position with 1970 enrollees, followed by the College of Arts, Sciences and Education (CASEd) with 1781, and the College of Information and Communications Technology (CICT) with 1501. The College of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences (CNAMS) and the College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics (CCJEF) bring up the rear with 444 and 425 students, respectively.

Almost all Colleges have more enrollees this year than last year. The University’s Laboratory Elementary School (LES) and High School (HS) also increased their enrollment tallies with 712 and 3491 students, respectively. It is the first time in many years that HS has experienced an increase.

The Graduate School, on the other hand, signed up 259 enrollees, or 106 fewer than last school year. The number is expected to increase in the next trimester.

Holy Angel University continues to maintain a robust student count despite the national trend of declining enrollment, due mainly to its reputation for excellence in instruction and facilities, reasonable tuition fees, and aggressive marketing.
