Triduum Mass 01 October 2009, Chapel of the Holy Guardian Angels

First of all, I would like to thank Msgr. Bustos for celebrating the third of our Triduum Masses. Dakal pung salamat, Monsignor.

Pasalamatan da kayu pu at ding kekayung kayabe king pamanagun yu kening gewa ming testimonial gathering para kekayu.

The Feast of the Holy Guardian Angels comes to us at a time when Filipinos need God’s protection and guardianship more than ever. The coincidence is a reminder to us that God is with us, we are safe under His Angel’s wings, and there is nothing to worry about.

But just as we benefit from the Holy Guardian Angel’s protective love, so shall we serve as guardian angels to our less fortunate brothers and sisters. This is the theme of our scholarship program where we encourage you to provide a angel wing to a needy student so he, too, can fly and reach his goals in life. As our way to reach out to families affected by Typhoon Ondoy in Metro Manila and Region 4-A including some families in Arayat, Pampanga, we would like to appeal for donations in kind or in cash.

Based on this standard package, may we propose that should NTP office units will give donations in kind, the following are suggested:

  1. Presidents Office Cluster - blankets or banig, bottled water (20 ml)
  2. Records system and services - slippers (different sizes)
  3. ITSS - biscuits/crackers
  4. OSSA - new underwear (men, women,children)
  5. Finance and Resource Management Services - coffee ( 25 gms) and sugar (1/2 kl)
  6. Campus Services and - toothbrush, toothpaste Development (sachet) , bath (sachet size) and detergent soap (individually packed), shampoo (sachet)

As we join the parish in celebrating the Feast Day of the Holy Guardian Angel tomorrow, let us thank God for sparing our community of the worst of Tropical Storm Ondoy. But let us also ask for His protection once again for all the coming typhoons and other trials and tribulations that will come our way.

I am pleased to announce that Holy Angel University will be releasing this afternoon a Financial Assistance to all teaching and non-teaching employees, full-time and part-time as well as permanent and non-permanent, who have rendered one (1) year of service. This is a gesture of appreciation for the blessings HAU has received last school year.

Let us be thankful for God’s blessings and let us look forward to a fruitful year ahead.

LAUS DEO SEMPER!
