HAU-CSDO GEARS UP FOR ADDITIONAL KEY CAMPUS IMPROVEMENTS

As part of its commitment to serve its stakeholders better, major construction activities in the University have been completed, while some are still in the works. These key improvements are supervised by the Campus Services and Development Office.

Drainage system in front of the University Chapel has been improved to alleviate the area of flooding which usually happened during heavy downpours. The improvement started last October 17 and was completed on November 12. Students and employees may now expect a flood-free piazza during inclement weather.

At the moment, to strengthen the security, a gate is being constructed in front of our two dormitory buildings: St. Martha Hall, where the Admissions Office and Institutional Testing Center are also located, and Plaza de Corazon Building (Red Building), where the HRMO is situated. These also serve as key buildings for our external partners (future employees and student-applicants). The project started last October 28 and is expected to be completed at end of December.

Major renovation of the Immaculate Heart Gymnasium (University Gym) is set to commence on December 5, 2016. CSDO has finalized the official perspective drawings of the said improvement.
