The guests loved our food!,” shared Arlene Cordero, a tourism student, who was part of the Iloilo group. “We were surprised that our lomi was sold out right away! We should have produced more so we can promote our product,” added Cordero. Another hit was Bacolod group’s chicken inasal which was one of the first products to be sold out. Zamboanga City group opted to up their game by putting up the best designed booth. Other places featured were Bolinao, Davao, Batangas City, Lucban, Cebu City, Vigan, Baguio City, Guagua, among others.

To add on entertainment value, a concert was held simultaneously with the bazaar. Paper Soul, a group of spoken word artists and singers who express their ideas and emotions through performances, were the first performers. Hugot-insipred spoken poetry with accompanying hugot songs was a hit. Meanwhile, Michael Pangilinan drew wild cheers from the audience, especially from the ladies. MP Global, a national fans club of Pangilinan, was also there to cheer for their idol. “I was confused if what I felt was kilig or kaba when MP (Michael Pangilinan) grabbed me from the audience and sang in front of me, up stage!”, shared Ariane Acuna, a Culinary Arts student. Silent Sanctuary was slated to cap off the event but wasn’t able to perform due to inclement weather. The organizers opted to end the event earlier. The concert was hosted by UFM Radio Jock Atlas.
