HAU CO-HOSTS THAILAND’S HCU INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC CONFERENCE

Holy Angel University (HAU) is one of the co-host universities of the Huachiew Chalermpraklet University (HCU) of Thailand in its international academic conference, with the theme “ Research to Serve Society”, in May 26, 2017 at HCU’s Main Campus in Samut Prakar, Thailand.


As conference co-host , the University committed to provide experts for the double-blind peer review of submitted research papers for presentation and publication, and chair one of the parallel sessions. Research papers may come on the following areas: Science and Technology, Health, Sciences, Liberal Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and Business Administration.


The HAU delegation was led by its Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Alma S. Espartinez. Eight faculty members from the School of Education, Arts and Sciences, and Business and Accountancy were chosen to present their papers on the said conference. The faculty whose papers were accepted for presentation were the following:


  • Dr. Alma Natividad, Dr. Raymond Patterson, Ms. Darlina Formoso, and Dr. Cecilia Teodoro (School of Education)

  • Ms. Maria Cristina Sicat, and Mr. Joel Regala (School of Arts and Sciences)

  • Ms. Claudia Cayanan, and Ms. Ma. Cristina Nagui (School of Business and Accountancy)

The academic conference is being staged as part of the commemorative activities marking the 25th founding anniversary of HCU. The conference also aims to gather some 200 local and international delegates composed of academicians, researchers, government officials, graduate students, and other interested parties.
