HAU FACULTY MEMBERS AND ADMINISTRATORS ATTEND GREEN MBA CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

The Office of Vice-President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) and School of Business and Accountancy (SBA) conducted a Curriculum Development Workshop on Green MBA with Dr. John Stayton from Sonoma State University in California, as the facilitator held at Peter G. Nepomuceno Building on May 23 to 27, 2017.

The workshop is a response to the challenge of developing a sustainable business management program that will capture environmental, economic and social issues, and serve as one of HAU’s forefronts for its graduate degree offerings.

The five day workshop involved HAU faculty members and administrators in the development of the Green MBA program, which included brainstorming activities on course design, learning outcomes, and course flow. The participants provided their inputs throughout the ten-part workshop and presented their results.

Capping-off the event is a Closing Remarks delivered by the University President, Dr. Luis Maria R. Calingo, during the last day of the workshop which inspired the participants. It is worth noting that HAU will soon become the first university in Asia to offer the Green MBA program. Truly, the Green MBA is another milestone for HAU.
