Commemorating the Earth month celebration, USC launches "Greenovation: Taking Stand for Our Nature”

The event was initiated by the University Student Council (USC) led by Miss Mariel Fuentes – USC President in cooperation with Kapampangan Boys’ Club.


The celebration started with a tree planting of two “BALACAT trees” – considered now as endangered tree. They were joined by Congresswoman Lani Mercado-Revilla of the 2nd District of Cavite, City of Bacoor, who was invited as one of their special guests together with Congresswoman Catalina ‘Lina’ Bagasina of the Association of Laborers and Employees (ALE) Partylist and Chairman Edgar ‘Guy’ C. Lopez, the President of the Water Environment of the Philippines and the Philippine Water Works.


A simple assembly was held after the “tree planting” at the SJH Bldg. Academic Hall, wherein Honorable Congresswoman Lani Mercado-Revilla address the crowd with a pledge of commitment for our environment.


"Greenovation: Taking Stand for Our Nature” , Earth Day celebration will be observed for the whole of July, culminating activity follows on the its last day – July 31, 2012, where everybody is invited to wear green.
